Indoor

The centre has five separate well-equipped rooms that offer a warm, nurturing environment to enhance your child’s development. In addition, we have a dedicated cot room providing a peaceful sleeping experience for our babies.

Outdoor

Our centre provides two large, separate playgrounds. Each playground is specially equipped with age-appropriate activities encouraging learning through play. Playground equipment is housed on softfall (synthetic soft material) which provides maximum protection for children in the unlikely case of a fall. Safety guidelines are maintained at all times allowing your child to enjoy and explore outdoor activities in a secure environment.

Both outdoor areas are equipped with large shade ports providing excellent protection from the sun. In addition, all weather covers have been erected over sandpits. Our Sun Smart policy ensures children are protected with sunscreen and hats at all times during outdoor activities.

Programming

We are keen observers of the children in our care. Our programme has been developed based on our interaction with them, creating an emergent curriculum.

• The carer frames the programme and the child initiates it. This allows for collaboration between child and carer, giving everyone a voice.
• The programme is child-responsive. Carers can build upon existing interests to enhance the effectiveness of the programme.
• In our role as facilitator we bring children the opportunity to discover more and construct further knowledge
• Our flexible curriculum is constantly developing to keep it dynamic and exciting
• Through learning stories, photographs, webs, reflective day sheets and journals your child’s learning and thinking becomes visible

Our programme is always evolving and our skilled team of carers regularly undertake training to ensure we are always up to date with the latest changes in the childcare industry.

The Bus

To make life easier for you a bus service is provided. Children from prep through to 12 years of age can be taken to school from the centre and brought back to the centre in the afternoon. Afternoon tea is provided with a menu on display each week. Your child will be given time to complete homework and assistance can be provided, time permitting.

Age appropriate equipment, toys, craft items and more can also be provided during this time to ensure an engaging experience is maintained.
